Shoran R Warren, M.Ed.

Shoran R. Warren, M.Ed., Director of AMP EMPOWERED, is a dedicated leader with over 20 years of experience in education, special needs advocacy, and community outreach. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Southern University at New Orleans, completed post-baccalaureate studies in Secondary Education at the University of New Orleans, and earned a Master’s in Special Education from Georgia Southwestern University. Her career reflects a lifelong commitment to equity, second chances, and empowering individuals to thrive despite barriers.

Rain Scott, M.B.A.

Rain Scott has been driving impact in Human Resources since 2014, bringing strong people skills and problem-solving expertise to every role. Since joining Penske in 2018, she’s advanced from Recruiter to HR Manager, supporting teams with energy and focus.

She holds an M.B.A. from Ashford University, serves on the board of Pride Houston 365, and runs her own events and charcuterie business. Rain lives in Katy, Texas, with her dog Sage.

Kashante’ Keelen Johnson, CNA, M.A.

Kashante’ Keelen Johnson is a healthcare professional, entrepreneur, and mentor with 30+ years of experience in patient care and advocacy. As the founder of Kay’s Sitting Service, she has supported over 200 families with compassionate in-home care. Certified in First Aid and CPR, Kashante’ is committed to safety, dignity, and excellence in every role. She also mentors aspiring caregivers, empowering the next generation of healthcare leaders.

Kim Robertson, A.S., B.S.

Kim Robertson is a healthcare professional and entrepreneur based in Houston, Texas. She serves as Supervisor of Revenue Cycle Management at Family Care Center Behavioral Health and co-owns Bayou Personal Care Home, providing seniors with a safe and supportive environment.

Bernadette Teress Kennedy, B.S., M.A.

With over 23 years in secondary education, Bernadette Teress Kennedy is an Exemplary Texas educator and Department Chair for Middle School English Language Arts. She holds a B.S. in Biology and an M.A. in Urban Education from Southern University at New Orleans. Dedicated to mentoring and academic excellence, she equips students with the skills to thrive in the twenty-first century. 

Krystal Evans, M.Ed.

Krystal Evans is an educator, author, and small business owner with over 22 years of experience. She holds a B.S. in Education from Kennesaw State University and an M.Ed. in Reading and Literacy from Walden University. A seasoned nonprofit leader, she has championed literacy and technology access for underserved youth and trained educators nationwide. Driven by a passion for service, Krystal is dedicated to creating opportunities that uplift and inspire communities.

Carmelita Ratna, BSW, JD,

Carmelita Ratna, is a seasoned public service and legal professional with more than 20 years experience assisting underserved communities and providing strategic business development guidance. She previously served as a board member for the Houma-Terrebonne Economic Development Commission, and the Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission. Carmelita played an important role in guiding those organizations through complex activities, and  transactions.

Massimo J. Brai, 

Property Maintenance & Housing Specialist | EPA Certified

Massimo brings 18 years of experience in property maintenance and management and is an Airbnb Superhost recognized for creating quality guest spaces. He currently works in Delivery Logistics and holds multiple certifications, including EPA 608 Universal (Air Conditioning & Heating), Plumbing, and Cisco IT Essentials (Hardware & Networking Technology) from San Diego CCD/CE. His combination of hands-on expertise, technical training, and logistics experience enables him to deliver reliable solutions in housing, property maintenance, and technical support.
